Christianity: Can’t Live With It, Can’t Live Without It
A Live Zoom Discussion Sunday August 3, 2025, Noon Central

I’m delighted to offer an online discussion with the brilliant Martha Crawford on Christianity and our times.
I’m Martha Crawford, a former psychotherapist who worked providing individual therapy and clinical supervision for a long time – I’m terrible with time and numbers – but probably for about twenty five years in NYC.
Although I respect their value, I mostly left traditional individual psychotherapeutic models behind in 2019
because I had no choice,
and I didn’t see how they work for us in times of global crisis as communities are breaking to pieces. At that time I began to facilitate workshops
on death, dreams,
mysticism & contemplation
community resilience & group development
and psychologies of liberation.

I’ll discuss my work as a pastor, spiritual director, guide and coach, the importance of co-creation of our identities and our calling with the Divine “whether we call it God, Jesus, Allah, Yahweh, the divine, the universe, the ground of all being, the source of all becoming, love, ultimate concern, or math, physics, chemistry, and biology”
A discussion for those engaged in the complexities of co-creation, and finding their way through the distortions, projections, and gifts of a vast continuum of Christian thought that extends far beyond institutional dogma.
